Step 1: Guide shapes
Lightly sketch this oval. It only shows where the big parts go, so press softly. You will erase it at the end.
Step 2: The outer headband
Draw a big upside-down U, like a rainbow, with two straight legs that stop near the bottom. Leave lots of room underneath for the ear cups.
Step 3: The inner headband
Draw a second, smaller upside-down U inside the first one, the same distance away all the way around. Then add a short curved line across the bottom of each leg to close the band.
Step 4: The ear cups
Under each end of the band, draw a tall oval, like an egg standing up. Make the two ovals the same size, and let the top of each one touch the bottom of the band.
Step 5: The speaker circles
Near the bottom of each ear cup, draw a round circle. Try to put them at the same height so the headphones look matching.
Step 6: The little heart
On the right ear cup, above the circle, draw a small heart. Start with two bumps at the top and bring the lines down to a point.
Step 7: The music note
In the open space under the band, draw two small ovals side by side. Add a tall line going up from each oval, then join the tops with a slanted line.
All done!
Erase the guide shapes, go over your lines, then color it in.

Tips for drawing headphones
- Draw the outer arch first, then the inner arch the same distance inside it, so the band stays an even width.
- The two ear cups should be about the same size. Look at the left one while you draw the right one, and keep the tops at the same height.
- For the music note, draw the tall lines straight up before you connect the tops. It is easier to join them with one slanted line than to curve them.

How to color your headphones drawing
Try a bright color for the band, like red or teal, and make the ear cups a different color. For a creative twist, color the music note in rainbow stripes.
