Step 1: Guide shapes
Lightly sketch these 2 ovals. They only show where the big parts go, so press softly. You will erase them at the end.
Step 2: The head
Draw a tall rounded shape like a soft rectangle that is a little narrower at the bottom. Leave a small gap at the top, where the horn and ears will go.
Step 3: Top of the body
Under the chin, draw a curved line that bumps upward like a hill. Then draw a short curved line going down on the left and on the right, like the sides of a big circle.
Step 4: Horn and ears
Draw a tall skinny triangle on top of the head for the horn, with a couple of little stripes across it. Add a pointy leaf-shaped ear on each side of the horn.
Step 5: The fluffy mane
Starting at the top of the head, draw a wavy cloud-shaped line down the left side of the face. Make lots of little bumps, like a puffy scarf of hair, and end it near the body.
Step 6: Eyes
Draw two small round dots in the middle of the face, side by side. Keep them the same size and at the same height.
Step 7: Legs and feet
At the bottom of the body, draw two tall rectangles for the front legs. Draw a long oval foot sticking out beside each leg, then join the feet with a gently wavy line along the bottom.
Step 8: Garland and nose
Draw a row of five circles across the top of the body, just under the chin, with a tiny circle inside some of them. Add two tiny dots on the muzzle for nostrils, and a short straight line between the legs.
Step 9: Jingle bell
Between the legs, draw a small arch shaped like an upside-down U. This is the little bell sitting on the unicorn's tummy.
All done!
Erase the guide shapes, go over your lines, then color it in.

Tips for drawing a Christmas unicorn
- Draw the horn as a long skinny triangle first, then add the little stripes afterward.
- The garland is the trickiest part. Draw the middle circle first, then add one circle on each side so they stay evenly spaced.
- Make the two legs the same height so your unicorn sits up nicely instead of tipping over.
