Step 1: Guide shapes
Lightly sketch this oval. It only shows where the big parts go, so press softly. You will erase it at the end.
Step 2: The big round head
Draw a big circle for the head on the left side of your page. Stop when you reach the bottom and leave a little gap where the neck will go.
Step 3: Shirt and happy face
Under the head, draw a tall rounded box for the shirt and add one wavy stripe across it. Draw a small V for the collar, then two dots for eyes and a curvy smile inside the head.
Step 4: Arms and hands
On the right, draw a long bent sleeve reaching up and finish it with a small circle for the waving hand. On the left, draw a rounded arm down the side of the shirt with a little circle hand at the bottom, and add a second stripe across the shirt.
Step 5: Legs and shoes
Under the shirt, draw two short lines for legs. Then draw two flat ovals side by side for the shoes.
Step 6: The Christmas tree
Next to the kid, draw a tall tree shape with three layers, small at the top and wider at the bottom, each layer with a curvy bottom edge. Add a little rectangle at the bottom for the trunk.
Step 7: The star on top
Draw a small five-point star floating just above the tip of the tree.
Step 8: Round ornaments
Draw one circle to the left of the tree, near the top, as if it is about to be hung up. Then add a few small dots on the tree layers for ornaments.
All done!
Erase the guide shapes, go over your lines, then color it in.
