How to draw a reindeer with Christmas lights step by step
How to Draw a Reindeer with Christmas Lights · tinyhandscreate.com
Step 1: Guide shapes
Lightly sketch this oval. It only shows where the big parts go, so press softly. You will erase it at the end.
Step 2: The head
Draw a big wide oval in the upper middle of your page. This is the reindeer's head, so leave room above it for antlers.
Step 3: Chin and body sides
Draw a tiny curvy smile at the bottom of the head. Then draw a curved line going down from each side of the chin, so the two lines make the sides of the body.
Step 4: Ears
Add a small tilted oval on each side of the top of the head. Tuck the inner edge of each oval against the head line.
Step 5: Arms and feet
Draw a tall skinny oval on each side of the body for the arms. Then add two flat, wide ovals at the bottom for the feet, with a little gap between them.
Step 6: Eyes and nose
Draw two round dots for eyes, spaced apart in the middle of the face. Add a small circle for the nose, sitting just above the smile.
Step 7: Antler branches
Above the head, draw one short curved line on each side, bending like a gentle smile. Leave the middle open.
Step 8: String of lights
Draw a wavy string with little loops across the gap between the antlers, and add small tines at the ends of the antler curves. Then add two short stems from the string down to the top of the head.
All done!
Erase the guide shapes, go over your lines, then color it in.

Tips for drawing a reindeer with Christmas lights
- Draw the head oval first and make it big, then fit the body underneath. If the body is too wide, the head will look small.
- Draw the two arm ovals and two foot ovals on matching sides so the reindeer sits evenly.
- Place the two eyes level with each other and put the nose circle in the middle, just above the smile.
- For the lights, draw the wavy string first, then add the loops along it, spaced evenly.
