How to Draw a Baby Bottle (Easy Step by Step)
A baby bottle is a friendly shape to draw because it is made of simple pieces stacked together: a rounded body, a smaller cap on top, and a soft cone for the nipple. This one has a wavy line of milk, a shiny highlight, and a smiling face, which gives it lots of personality.

Step 1: The bottle body
Start at the top left and draw a tall U shape with soft rounded corners at the bottom. Let the top ends curve in a little toward each other, and leave a gap across the top.
Step 2: The cap
Above the body, draw a short, wide shape with a flat top and rounded corners. Let its two sides curve down to meet the curved top ends of the bottle.
Step 3: The cap's bottom line
Draw one straight line across the bottom of the cap, from its left side to its right side. This closes the cap and sits right on top of the bottle.
Step 4: The nipple
On top of the cap, draw a tall, narrow shape like a bell or a rounded cone. Start at the cap, curve the sides in a little, then round off the top.
Step 5: The milk line
Draw a wavy line across the bottle about halfway down, from the left side to the right side. Make it gently go up and down like a little ocean wave.
Step 6: The shiny highlight
Near the top left inside the bottle, draw a short, straight up-and-down line. It shows where light shines on the glass.
Step 7: Face and measuring marks
In the milk, draw two round dots for eyes and a small smile curve below them. Then add three short lines going in from the right edge, with the middle one a little longer.
All done!
Go over your lines with a marker, then color it in.

Tips for drawing a baby bottle
- Draw the bottle body first and keep it tall. If the cap and nipple come first, they often end up too big for the body.
- The nipple can look wobbly. Draw it lightly as a bell shape, with the sides curving in and then out, before you go over it.
- Make the milk line a gentle wave, not a zigzag. Let your hand move slowly and keep the line smooth.

How to color your baby bottle drawing
Color the milk a creamy white or soft pink and the cap a bright blue or yellow. Try a pale color for the nipple and leave the highlight white so the bottle looks shiny.
Baby bottle fun fact for kids
Many baby bottles have measuring marks on the side. They help grown-ups see how much milk is inside.
