Goldilocks is fun to draw because she is made from simple shapes: a big circle for her face, long curvy hair, a bow, and a dress with an apron. The three bowls on the table tell the porridge story, and they get smaller and smaller from left to right.

Step 1: Guide shapes
Lightly sketch this oval. It only shows where the big parts go, so press softly. You will erase it at the end.
Step 2: Face and long hair
Draw a big circle for her face, then add a long curved line down each side for her hair. Finish each hair line with a little curl inward at the bottom, and add two small curved tufts and a tiny knot at the top.
Step 3: The bow
On top of her head, draw two rounded loops side by side like a sideways bow. Let them meet in the middle at the little knot.
Step 4: Bangs
Under the bow, draw a gentle bump shape in the middle of her forehead. Then add a curved line on each side of the bump to make her bangs.
Step 5: Face, arms and legs
Add two dots for eyes and a little smile. Then draw her puffy sleeves, her arms bending down to two round hands, and three short straight lines below for her legs.
Step 6: Dress and apron
Draw the dress below her hands, with sides that slant out wider at the bottom. Add a curved U shape in the middle for her apron.
Step 7: Apron line
Draw a short curved line across the middle of the apron, just below her hands.
Step 8: Shoes
At the bottom of her legs, draw two flat ovals for her shoes. Make them the same size and let them touch in the middle.
Step 9: The table
Next to Goldilocks, draw a long thin rectangle for the tabletop. Add one straight leg down from each end.
Step 10: Three bowls
On the table, draw three little bowls in a row from biggest to smallest. Each one is a cup shape that is wider at the top than the bottom.
All done!
Erase the guide shapes, go over your lines, then color it in.

Tips for drawing Goldilocks
- Draw the face circle first and leave room above it for the bow. Make the two bow loops about the same size so it looks neat.
- Her arms and puffy sleeves are the trickiest part. Draw the sleeves as two little bumps first, then curve each arm down to a round hand.
- Draw the three bowls from biggest to smallest. If each one is a little smaller than the last, they will look like a family.

How to color your Goldilocks drawing
Try golden yellow for her hair, a light blue dress with a white apron, and a pink bow. Color the three bowls and the table too, and you could draw porridge steaming from the bowls.
Goldilocks fun fact for kids
The story of Goldilocks and the Three Bears was first printed in England in 1837, written by Robert Southey. In that first version, the visitor was an old woman, not a girl with golden hair.
Questions about drawing Goldilocks
What shapes do I need to draw Goldilocks?
You need a big circle for the face, two loops for the bow, two ovals for the shoes and cup shapes for the bowls. Long curved lines make her hair, and a slanted dress sits below her hands.
How do I make Goldilocks look cuter?
Draw her eyes as small dots set far apart and give her a little smile. A larger bow and extra long hair make her look even sweeter.
How do I draw the three bowls the same shape?
Draw one small cup shape that is wider at the top, then copy it smaller two more times. Keep the same shape each time so they look like a set.
