How to Draw a Diwali Star Lantern · tinyhandscreate.com
Step 1: Left side of the star
Start at the top point of the star. Draw a line sloping down to the left, out to the left point, then back in and down to the bottom left leg, and add a short straight line hanging below it.
Step 2: Right side of the star
Begin at the same top point and draw a line sloping down to the right. Go out to the right point, curve in, and come down the right leg with a short straight line hanging below, just like the left side.
Step 3: The bottom dip
Connect the bottoms of the two legs with a gentle upside-down V, like a soft hill. This closes the bottom of your big star.
Step 4: The small inner star
Draw a smaller star inside the big one, in the middle. Start with the top point, then zigzag out and in around the five points until the lines meet again.
Step 5: The hanging hook
Draw a short straight line going up from the top point of the star. At the very top, curl it over into a little swirl, like the end of a cane.
Step 6: The two drops
At the bottom of each short hanging line, draw a small teardrop shape with a pointed top. Then add a tiny teardrop inside each one.
All done!
Go over your lines with a marker, then color it in.
