How to Draw a Takeout Noodle Box (Easy Step by Step)
A takeout noodle box is a fun drawing because it is built from simple shapes: a tapered box, two circles, and some wiggly lines. The chopsticks sticking out of the top make it look like dinner is ready. It is a good first drawing for young artists who like curvy lines.

Step 1: Guide shapes
Lightly sketch this oval. It only shows where the big parts go, so press softly. You will erase it at the end.
Step 2: Box and pile outline
Draw a tall, rounded shape that is wide at the top and gets narrower toward the bottom. Start at the top left with a curved line, go down the slanted sides, and join them with a gently curved line at the bottom. Leave a small gap at the top.
Step 3: The rim
Draw a long, gently curved line straight across the shape, from the left side to the right side. It splits the box below from the noodle pile above.
Step 4: Round label
In the middle of the box, draw a circle. Then draw a smaller circle inside it, so it looks like a target.
Step 5: Top of the pile
Inside the top part, start near the left side and draw a bumpy, wiggly line that goes a little way across. This is the start of the puffy noodle pile.
Step 6: Chopsticks and pile edge
Draw two long, straight lines side by side, leaning a little to the right, so they poke up out of the noodles. Then keep the bumpy pile line going to the right and finish it with a short slanted line heading down.
Step 7: Wiggly noodles
Draw two wavy lines inside the noodle pile, like little snakes. Make some bumps go up and some go down.
All done!
Erase the guide shapes, go over your lines, then color it in.

- For the noodle pile, think of drawing a fluffy cloud with bumps. Go slowly and keep your pencil moving in soft curves.
- Draw the two chopsticks as long straight lines side by side. Use a ruler or the edge of a book if you want them extra straight.
