How to Draw a Shop (Easy Step by Step)
A little shop is a fun drawing because it is mostly rectangles with a few curvy surprises. You will build it from a big rectangle, a scalloped awning, a rounded window and an arched door. Then you fill the window with treats and add a heart on the sign.

How to draw a shop step by step
How to Draw a Shop · tinyhandscreate.com
Step 1: The shop building
Draw a tall rectangle for the front of the shop, with the top corners sloping out a little at the roof edge. Add a straight line along the bottom for the ground, and let it stretch past the right side with a little hook at the end.
Step 2: Scalloped awning edge
Just under the top edge, draw a row of little U-shaped scallops side by side, all the same size. Then draw a short line up from each point between the scallops to the roof line.
Step 3: The sign on top
Above the roof, draw a wide rectangle with rounded corners for the shop sign.
Step 4: The heart on the sign
Inside the sign, draw a small heart with two bumps on top and a point at the bottom. Add a tiny curl at the dip between the bumps.
Step 5: The shop window
On the left side of the shop, draw a big square with rounded corners for the window.
Step 6: The door
On the right side, draw a tall door with a round top. Start at the ground, go up one side, curve over the top and come back down to the ground. Add a small dot for the doorknob.
Step 7: The door sign
Near the top of the door, draw a small rectangle hanging like a sign. Draw a little triangle with a rounded tip poking up above it.
Step 8: Treats in the window
Draw an ice cream cone inside the window, with a swirly scoop on top and a cup shape below. Next to it, draw a loaf of bread like a dome with a few short slanted lines on top.
Step 9: The potted plant
Next to the shop, at the end of the ground line, draw a small flowerpot that is wider at the top. Add a tall oval leaf sprouting out of it.
All done!
Go over your lines with a marker, then color it in.

Tips for drawing a shop
- Draw the awning scallops all about the same size. Start at the left and make each little curve touch the one before it.
- Keep the window and the door on opposite sides so each has room. The door should reach all the way down to the ground line.
- The heart is the trickiest part. Draw two small bumps first, then connect them down to a point at the bottom.

How to color your shop drawing
Try a pink and white awning, a blue door and a red heart on the sign. For a creative twist, change what the shop sells and draw something different in the window, like flowers or toys.
Shop fun fact for kids
Many old shops hung a striped awning over the front. It gave shade to people walking by and kept the sun from fading the things in the window.
