Step 1: Guide shapes
Lightly sketch these 2 ovals. They only show where the big parts go, so press softly. You will erase them at the end.
Step 2: The round head
Draw a big oval for the head, a little wider than it is tall. Leave a small gap at the bottom where the neck will go.
Step 3: Apron body
Under the head, draw a tall rounded rectangle for the body, with straight sides and a flat bottom. Near the top, add a small square shape for the apron pocket.
Step 4: Face, collar and arms
Draw two small dots for eyes and a tiny round O for the mouth. Add a wavy collar line across the top of the body. Then draw one arm bending up to the right, ending in a small round hand with a short stick, and one arm hanging down on the left with a little hook for a hand.
Step 5: Legs and shoes
Under the apron, draw two short straight lines for legs. At the bottom of each, draw a flat oval for a shoe, side by side.
Step 6: Wand loop and jar
Draw a circle at the top of the short stick to make the bubble wand. Then draw a small rounded jar hanging from the hand on the left.
Step 7: Big floating bubbles
Draw three circles floating up and away from the wand. Make them different sizes and spread them out so they do not touch.
Step 8: Small bubbles
Add two tiny circles in the gaps between the bigger bubbles. They can be a little wobbly, just like real bubbles.
Step 9: Shiny bubble curves
Inside two of the bubbles, near the top left, draw a tiny curved line to show where the light shines. Keep each one short.
All done!
Erase the guide shapes, go over your lines, then color it in.

Tips for drawing a kid blowing bubbles
- Draw the bubbles last and spread them out. Make them different sizes and leave gaps so they do not crowd each other.
- The wand loop is the trickiest part. Draw the circle right on top of the short stick that comes out of the hand.
- Do not worry if your circles are wobbly. Real bubbles are never perfect, and the little shine curve inside makes them look glassy.

Kid blowing bubbles fun fact for kids
A soap bubble is a very thin skin of soap and water wrapped around air. It is round because the skin pulls itself into the smallest surface it can for the air inside, and a ball is that shape.
