How to Draw a Kid Baking (Easy Step by Step)
A little baker with a big puffy hat is a fun one to draw because almost everything is a simple shape. You will use a big rounded head, a puffy cloud hat, a trapezoid apron with a heart, and ovals for the shoes. The whisk and mixing bowl show what this kid is up to.

Step 1: Guide shapes
Lightly sketch these 2 ovals. They only show where the big parts go, so press softly. You will erase them at the end.
Step 2: The round head sides
Draw two curved lines that make the sides and bottom of a big, wide head, a little like a rounded egg. Leave a gap at the top for the hat and a small gap at the bottom.
Step 3: The chef hat
Draw a puffy cloud shape on top of the head with soft bumps along the top. Add a flat band across the bottom of the cloud where it meets the head.
Step 4: The body and arm
Under the head, draw a box that gets a little narrower at the bottom, like an apron. Add a short curved line on the left for the arm and small lines on the right for the other side.
Step 5: Face and freckles
Draw two round dots for eyes, side by side. Add a small curved smile between them, and a few tiny dots for freckles on one cheek.
Step 6: Heart and shoes
Draw a small heart in the middle of the apron. Then draw two ovals side by side under the body for the shoes.
Step 7: The left hand
At the bottom of the left arm, draw a small circle for the hand. Add a couple of short lines next to it for the fingers.
Step 8: The whisk
Draw a long straight line going up from the hand, slanting to the left. At the top, draw a small loop like a teardrop for the whisk.
Step 9: Bowl, hand and legs
On the right, draw a small round hand holding a bowl with a wide rim and a curved bottom. Then draw two short lines between the apron and the shoes for the legs.
All done!
Erase the guide shapes, go over your lines, then color it in.

Tips for drawing a kid baking
- Draw the head sides first and leave room at the top, so the puffy hat can sit right on it.
- The whisk is the trickiest part. Draw the long handle line first, then add the small loop at the top.
- Keep the apron a little narrower at the bottom than at the top so it looks like a real apron.
