How to draw a bullet train step by step

How to Draw a Bullet Train · tinyhandscreate.com

  1. Step 1: The long body

Draw one long, low shape like a stretched-out rounded rectangle. Keep the left end fairly straight, and let the top on the right curve down into a smooth, pointy nose that meets the bottom line.

  2. Step 2: The side stripe

Draw one straight line across the lower part of the body, near the bottom. Start at the left side and go all the way to the tip of the nose.

  3. Step 3: Passenger windows

Draw five tall ovals in a row above the stripe, starting near the left end. Try to make them the same size with the same space between them.

  4. Step 4: The driver's window

Next to the last oval, draw a window shaped like a slice of pie. Make a straight line down the left side and a flat bottom, then curve the top so it slopes down with the nose.

  5. Step 5: Four wheels

Under the body, draw two pairs of small round wheels. Each wheel is a little circle with a tiny circle inside. Put one pair near the left and one pair near the middle.

  6. Step 6: The track

Draw a long straight line under the wheels for the track. Let the bottoms of the wheels touch it so the train sits right on top.

  7. All done!

Go over your lines with a marker, then color it in.

Tips for drawing a bullet train

  • The nose is the trickiest part. Start the top line flat, then let it curve down in one slow, smooth sweep instead of many short lines.
  • Draw the first window oval, then copy its height for the other four so they line up like a row of buttons.
  • Draw the stripe and the track with a ruler edge or a book to keep them straight, then place the wheels so they touch the track line.

Questions about drawing a bullet train

What shapes do I need to draw a bullet train?

You need a long rounded rectangle for the body, tall ovals for the windows, small circles for the wheels, and straight lines for the stripe and the track.

How do I make the front of my train look fast?

Make the nose long and gently pointed, with one smooth curve from the roof down to the tip. A low, sleek shape looks quicker than a tall, boxy one.

How do I draw the wheels so they look even?

Draw two small circles side by side, then draw another matching pair farther along. Add a tiny circle inside each one so they look like real wheels.
