How to draw a Christmas robot step by step

How to Draw a Christmas Robot · tinyhandscreate.com

  1. Step 1: Sides of the head

Draw two wavy lines for the sides of the head: a tall line on the left that bends in at the top, and a shorter curved line on the right. Leave the top and bottom open for now.

  2. Step 2: Fluffy hat brim

Across the top of the head, draw a long bumpy oval for the fluffy brim of the hat. Add a tiny tick at the right end where the hat will join.

  3. Step 3: Hat top and pom-pom

Start at the left side of the brim and draw a big curved line that arches up and over to the right. Finish with a small circle at the end for the pom-pom.

  4. Step 4: The eyes

Draw two round dots for eyes, side by side in the middle of the face. Fill them in so they look dark and shiny.

  5. Step 5: The scarf

Under the head, draw two curved lines going left to right for the scarf, and join them with a little curve at the right end. Then draw a short line down from the scarf to start the body.

  6. Step 6: Scarf end and tail

On the right, hang a small flap down from the scarf, like a tiny flag. Add a little curl at the bottom for a tail.

  7. Step 7: The present box

On the left, draw a wide rectangle with slightly wobbly sides for the gift box. Then draw a curved line along the bottom, from the box over to the body, to finish the bottom of the robot.

  8. Step 8: The arm

Draw a curved bump on the right side of the box for an arm hugging it. Add a short line going down along the box edge and a little line trailing off to the right.

  9. Step 9: Bow, ribbon and mouth

On top of the box, draw two little loops side by side with a tiny knot in the middle to make a bow. Draw two straight lines down the box for the ribbon, then add a tiny mouth between the eyes.

  10. All done!

Go over your lines with a marker, then color it in.

Tips for drawing a Christmas robot

  • Draw the head sides first and leave the top open. The hat sits right on top, so the brim should cover the top of the head.
  • Make the fluffy brim with bumpy, wobbly lines instead of one smooth curve. Bumps are what make it look like soft fur.
  • Draw the gift box before the arm. The arm hugs the side of the box, so it is easier to add it afterward.
