Step 1: The left boot
Draw two upright lines for the boot leg. Curve the right line out into a rounded foot that points right. Then draw a long rounded bar along the bottom for the sole.
Step 2: The fluffy cuff
Draw a cloud-shaped bump across the top of the boot for the fuzzy cuff. Close it with a short straight line along the bottom of the cloud.
Step 3: The right boot
Draw a matching boot facing the other way, so the toes point toward each other. Draw the two upright lines of the leg, curve the left line out into the foot, then add the long rounded sole.
Step 4: Its fluffy cuff
Add a cloud-shaped cuff on top of the second boot, just like the first one.
Step 5: Laces on both boots
Draw two little X shapes, one above the other, on the front of each boot leg. Keep them about the same size.
Step 6: Sole dots
Draw four small dots in a row inside each sole, spaced evenly. These are the grippy treads.
Step 7: Snowflakes
Draw three short lines that cross in the middle to make a star with six arms. Make one above each boot and one in the space between them.
All done!
Go over your lines with a marker, then color it in.

Tips for drawing snow boots
- Draw the first boot lightly, then copy its height and width for the second one so they look like a pair.
- The fluffy cuff is the trickiest part. Make three soft bumps in a row, like a small cloud, and do not worry if they are not equal.
- For each snowflake, draw one line, then a second line crossing the middle, then a third line crossing both, so all six arms are evenly spaced.

How to color your snow boots drawing
Try bright red or blue boots with white fluffy cuffs, and give each snowflake a pale icy blue. For a twist, color each boot a different way, like stripes on one and polka dots on the other.
Snow boots fun fact for kids
Snow boots keep feet warm mostly by trapping air. A thick lining and a thick sole hold a layer of air around your foot, and air does not let heat escape quickly.
