  1. Step 1: The locker door

Draw a tall shape with a rounded top. Start at the bottom left, draw up the left side, across the top with rounded corners, and down the right side. Leave the bottom open.

  2. Step 2: The bottom base

Near the bottom, draw one straight line across from the left side to the right side. Then draw a curved line below it to close the bottom of the door.

  3. Step 3: Three air slots

Near the top inside the door, draw three long, skinny lines, one under the other. Make them the same length and space them evenly.

  4. Step 4: The handle plate

Under the slots, draw a small wide rectangle with rounded corners. Then add a short little line inside it, in the middle.

  5. Step 5: The lock bar

On the lower right of the door, draw a short, wide pill shape. It is the bar that the lock hangs from.

  6. Step 6: The padlock

Start under the bar and draw a tall arch, like an upside-down U, for the loop. Then draw a square with rounded corners at the bottom of the arch and add a small dot in the middle.

  7. Step 7: A heart sticker

On the lower left of the door, draw two bumps side by side and curve them down to a point. Now you have a heart to decorate your locker.

  8. All done!

Go over your lines with a marker, then color it in.

Tips for drawing a school locker

  • Draw the door first and make it much taller than it is wide. Everything else will fit inside it, so take your time.
  • Line up the three air slots by making them start and stop at the same spots. Use a light pencil dot at each end to guide you.
  • The padlock is the trickiest part. Draw the bar first, then the arch under it, and finish with the square body at the bottom of the arch.
