Step 1: Guide shapes
Lightly sketch these 2 ovals. They only show where the big parts go, so press softly. You will erase them at the end.
Step 2: The round head
Draw a big circle in the middle of your page for the head. Trace over the top and sides and bottom of the guide oval, leaving small gaps near the top.
Step 3: The body
Under the chin, draw a box with slightly rounded sides for the body. Add a straight line across the lower part for a belt.
Step 4: Arms and hands
Draw a long thin arm going up from each side of the head, tilting outward like a V. Finish each arm with a small circle on top for a hand.
Step 5: The trophy cup
Between the hands, draw a flat line on top and curve down on both sides into a big U shape for the cup. Add a short stick under the cup and a flat oval base.
Step 6: Trophy handles
Start at each side of the cup and draw a big curving line that swoops out and down to meet the hand. The two handles should match, like a pair of ears.
Step 7: The small star
Inside the cup, draw a small star. Keep it small enough to sit in the middle of the cup.
Step 8: Face, medal and legs
Add two dots for eyes and a curved smile on the face. On the chest draw a V-shaped ribbon ending in a small circle for the medal, then draw short lines going down from the belt for the legs.
Step 9: Round shoes
At the bottom of the legs, draw two flat ovals for shoes. Let the two shoes touch in the middle.
All done!
Erase the guide shapes, go over your lines, then color it in.

Tips for drawing a kid with a trophy
- Draw the head circle first, so the arms have room to reach up on both sides without crowding the trophy.
- The trophy handles are the trickiest part. Start each one at the cup and swoop out and down until it meets the hand circle, and try to make both sides match.
- Keep the star small and place it in the center of the cup.

How do I make the kid look happier?
Draw a curved smile with the two eyes a little above it. The raised arms also make the kid look excited, so tilt them upward and outward.
