How to Draw a Flight Attendant (Easy Step by Step)
A flight attendant is a fun one to draw because the whole character is built from simple shapes: a big round head, a little box-shaped hat, a bow tie, and a rolling suitcase made from a rounded rectangle. Your child will practice curves, ovals and boxes, and end up with a cheerful traveler who is ready for takeoff.

Step 1: Guide shapes
Lightly sketch this oval. It only shows where the big parts go, so press softly. You will erase it at the end.
Step 2: Head side curves
Draw two curved lines that make the sides of a big round head, like the left and right of a circle. Leave a gap at the top for the hat and a gap at the bottom for the neck.
Step 3: The neat hat
On top of the head, draw a short box shape with a rounded top that sits in the gap. Add two curved lines along the bottom of the box to make the hat band.
Step 4: Face and jacket
Draw two small dots for eyes and a little curved smile. Under the head, draw a small bow tie, then a boxy jacket with a straight line down the middle and a flat line across the bottom for the belt.
Step 5: Skirt and shoes
Under the belt, draw a skirt that flares out like a short trapezoid. Then draw two flat ovals underneath for the shoes.
Step 6: Arms and hand
Start with a small circle for the hand on the left. Draw one long curved line from the hand up the side of the jacket, across the shoulders, and down the right side to make both arms.
Step 7: The rolling suitcase
Next to the right hand, draw a rounded rectangle for the suitcase and add two lines down the front. Draw a short handle stick on top with a small circle at the end, then add two tiny wheels underneath.
All done!
Erase the guide shapes, go over your lines, then color it in.

Tips for drawing a flight attendant
- Draw the two side curves of the head lightly, leaving gaps for the hat and neck, so the hat can sit right in the top gap.
- The bow tie is the trickiest part. Make it small and keep it right under the head, in the middle of the jacket.
- Draw the suitcase as a plain rounded rectangle first, then add the lines, handle and wheels so the proportions stay neat.
