Step 1: The TV body
Draw a big wide rectangle with very round corners, like a loaf of bread. This is the box that holds everything else.
Step 2: The screen
Inside the left side of the body, draw a smaller rounded square with a little space all around it. Make the corners nice and round, like a soft pillow.
Step 3: The happy face
In the middle of the screen, draw two small dots for eyes. Under them, draw a short curved line that smiles.
Step 4: Antenna base
On top of the TV, draw a small upside-down U that sits right on the top edge. It looks like a little hill.
Step 5: The two antennas
From the top of the little hill, draw two long straight lines that spread apart like a letter V. Leave the ends plain, with no dots.
Step 6: Two knobs
On the right side, draw two small circles, one above the other. Put a short line inside the top circle pointing up, and a short slanted line inside the bottom one.
Step 7: Speaker lines
Under the knobs, draw three short straight lines, one above the other. Keep them the same length with round ends.
Step 8: Four little legs
Under the bottom of the TV, draw four small legs. Each one is a short U shape that is a bit narrower at the bottom. Draw two on the left and two on the right.
All done!
Go over your lines with a marker, then color it in.

Tips for drawing a TV
- Draw the big body first and leave room on the right side for the knobs. Planning that space keeps the screen from getting too wide.
- Round the corners of the body and the screen by drawing slow curves instead of sharp points. Turning the paper as you draw can help.
- Draw the two antennas from the little base outward so they start at the same spot. Keep them straight and let them spread apart like a V.

How to color your TV drawing
Try a bright red or teal body with a light blue screen and yellow knobs. For a creative twist, draw a tiny cartoon show on the screen instead of the face.
TV fun fact for kids
Old TVs used a thin wire or metal rod called an antenna to catch signals that travel through the air. People used to turn the antennas around to get a clearer picture.
