A radio with a smile is a fun mix of friendly shapes: a rounded box, two small circles for knobs, and a big circle for the speaker. Once the box is down, every part is a simple shape you already know. The little music notes make it look like it is playing your favorite song.

Step 1: The radio body
Draw a big rounded rectangle, wider than it is tall, with soft round corners. This is the main box of the radio.
Step 2: Handle and antenna
On top of the box, draw a small handle shaped like an upside-down U, with its two sides starting on the top line. Then draw a short slanted line going up from the top right corner and finish it with a tiny circle.
Step 3: The speaker
On the left side of the box, draw a big circle. Make it almost as tall as the box.
Step 4: Speaker dots
Inside the circle, draw three rows of three little dots. Keep them evenly spaced like a tiny grid.
Step 5: The tuning window
On the upper right, draw a long rounded rectangle for the radio display.
Step 6: Two round knobs
Below the window, draw two small circles side by side, about the same size. They will be the knobs and the eyes of your radio.
Step 7: Marks inside
Draw a short upright line inside the window. Then draw a short upright line inside each knob.
Step 8: Smile and feet
Draw a small curved smile below the knobs. Then at the bottom of the box, draw two small rectangles with no top line, one near each end, so the radio can stand.
Step 9: Music notes
Above the radio on the left, draw two music notes. For each one, draw a small curved flag with a tall line going down from it, and finish with a tiny curl at the bottom.
All done!
Go over your lines with a marker, then color it in.

Tips for drawing a radio
- Draw the big speaker circle lightly first. If it looks lopsided, just trace over the best part of it.
- For the speaker dots, make three straight rows of three, so they line up like a tiny grid.
- Draw the two knobs about the same size and at the same height, so they make a cute pair of eyes.
