A juice box is a fun first drawing because it is mostly straight lines, and it comes with a smiling face. It is built from a rectangle, a few slanted lines to make it look 3D, a bent straw, two circles with lines inside, and two tiny drops.

Step 1: The box
Draw a tall rectangle for the front of the box. Then draw a slanted line up and to the right from each top corner, join them with a straight line across the top, and draw the side with a line down from the back corner and a slanted line back to the front bottom corner.
Step 2: The bent straw
On the top of the box, draw a small flat oval for the hole. Draw two lines going straight up from it, then bend them up and to the right and close the end with a short flat line.
Step 3: The big circle
In the upper middle of the front, draw a big round circle. This will be the fruit slice picture on the box.
Step 4: The inner circle
Inside the big circle, draw a smaller circle with an even gap all around. This is the fruit peel.
Step 5: Fruit sections
Inside the small circle, draw three straight lines that all cross in the middle, like the spokes of a wheel. This cuts the fruit into sections.
Step 6: A happy face
Near the bottom of the front, draw two small round dots for eyes. Between them, a little lower, draw a small smile like a curved U.
Step 7: Juice drops
To the right of the box, draw a big drop with a pointy top and a round bottom. Draw a smaller drop below it.
All done!
Go over your lines with a marker, then color it in.

Tips for drawing a juice box
- Draw the front rectangle first and the slanted lines second. If the slanted lines all lean the same way, the box will look solid.
- Make the big circle first and then draw the smaller circle inside it. Leaving an even gap all around makes the fruit slice look neat.
- The straw is the trickiest part. Draw the two straight lines first, then bend them at the same spot so the straw stays the same width.

How to color your juice box drawing
Color the box orange or yellow, the fruit slice a juicy orange, and the drops the same color as the juice. For a fun twist, color the slice like a different fruit, such as a lime or a grapefruit.
Juice box fun fact for kids
Juice boxes are made from layers of paperboard, plastic, and thin aluminum foil, which keep the juice fresh without a fridge until the box is opened.
