How to draw a husky with a backpack step by step

How to Draw a Husky with a Backpack · tinyhandscreate.com

  1. Step 1: Guide shapes

Lightly sketch these 2 ovals. They only show where the big parts go, so press softly. You will erase them at the end.

  2. Step 2: Head and ears

Start at the left side of the neck and draw a wide, rounded head going up to a pointy triangle ear. Dip down a little between the ears, draw the second ear, then curve down the right side of the head. Leave the bottom of the head open.

  3. Step 3: Body and legs

Draw a curved line across under the head for the shoulders. From each end, draw a line down to make a tall rounded body. At the bottom, draw two short stubby legs with a small gap between them.

  4. Step 4: The backpack

On the left, draw a rounded bag shape that starts at the side of the head and curves out and down. Add a small pocket shaped like a rounded rectangle on its left edge. Then draw the bottom of the bag as a line that curves back toward the left foot.

  5. Step 5: Strap and arm

On the left of the chest, draw a curved line for the backpack strap with a little hook at the bottom. On the right side of the body, draw a short curved line for the arm, going down from the shoulder.

  6. Step 6: Eyes, nose and smile

Draw two round dots for eyes, wide apart in the middle of the face. Between them, draw a short line down for the nose, with a small curvy smile like the letter w underneath.

  7. Step 7: The pencil

On the left, near the ground, draw a small tilted pencil. Make a thin tilted rectangle with a little cap at the top and a pointed tip at the bottom.

  8. Step 8: The eraser

On the right, near the ground, draw a flat rounded block that looks like a slanted box. Add a line along the front to show its side.

  9. All done!

Erase the guide shapes, go over your lines, then color it in.

Tips for drawing a husky with a backpack

  • Draw the head wide and a little flat on top. A wide head makes this husky look cute.
  • The backpack sits behind the body. Start it at the side of the head and let it curve down, so the body line stays in front of it.
  • Draw the pencil and the eraser last, and keep them on the ground at the sides. Leave a little space between them and the husky so the lines do not touch.
