Step 1: Guide shapes
Lightly sketch this oval. It only shows where the big parts go, so press softly. You will erase it at the end.
Step 2: Top of the head
Draw a big curved arch like a rainbow for the top of the head. Start on the left, curve up and over, and stop on the right, leaving the bottom open for now.
Step 3: Hair, ears and chin
Draw a wavy hairline across the forehead with two little peaks. Add a round ear bump on each side, then curve a line from each ear down and around to meet at the chin.
Step 4: Eyes and smile
Fill in two round dots for eyes, side by side in the middle of the face. Draw a small curved smile below and between them.
Step 5: Neckline and body
Just under the chin, draw a small U-shaped neckline. Then draw a long line down from each side of the neck, tilting a little outward, to make the sides of the body.
Step 6: Arms and fists
Start at each shoulder and draw a curved line out and down for the arm. Finish each one with a round fist, like a bumpy mitten, and a little line back to the body.
Step 7: Shorts and sock tops
Draw a slanted line across each side of the body for the bottom of the shorts, with a small upside-down U in the middle between the legs. Then add a short line near the bottom of each leg for the top of a sock.
Step 8: Shoes
At the bottom of each leg, draw a rounded shoe shape like a bean, with the toe pointing outward. Add a line down the inside of each leg to meet the shoe, and close the shoe with a flat line along the floor.
All done!
Erase the guide shapes, go over your lines, then color it in.

Tips for drawing a wrestler
- Start the head as a big, light arch so the hair and ears have room to fit around it.
- The fists are the trickiest part. Draw each one as a round blob with a small notch for the thumb.
- Draw the two legs the same width, and keep the sock lines at the same height on both sides.
