How to Draw a Food Truck (Easy Step by Step)
A food truck is a kitchen on wheels, and it is great fun to draw because it is made almost entirely of rectangles and circles. You will build a box, add a cab, then finish with an awning, a menu board and a roof sign that make it look like a real place to get lunch.

Step 1: The truck body
Draw a big wide rectangle for the back of the truck. Leave two small gaps in the bottom line where the wheels will go, and let the bottom line stick out a little past the right side.
Step 2: The cab
Next to the box, draw the front where the driver sits. Start at the top right of the box, go straight across, curve down in a slope, then draw a straight front and a bottom line. Add a small window with one rounded corner near the top.
Step 3: Two round wheels
Draw two circles of the same size on the bottom line, one under the box and one under the cab. Let the top of each circle tuck up into the bottom line.
Step 4: Hubcaps and headlight
Put a solid dot in the middle of each wheel for the hubcap. Then draw a tiny rounded shape on the front edge of the cab for the headlight.
Step 5: The serving window
On the side of the box, draw a big window with a flat top, slanted top corners and straight sides. Add a long thin rounded shelf along the bottom of the window.
Step 6: Awning, stand and menu lines
Across the top of the window, draw a row of little bumpy scallops, like waves, and add a short curved line going up from each dip. Then draw two short upright lines on the roof, and three short lines between the window and the cab.
Step 7: The menu sign
Draw a long rectangle with rounded corners in the middle of the window. This is where the menu goes.
Step 8: The menu board
Draw a tall rectangle with rounded corners around the three short lines between the window and the cab.
Step 9: The roof sign
On top of the truck, draw a small curved bracket that joins the two upright lines. Finish with a long pill shape above it for the sign.
All done!
Go over your lines with a marker, then color it in.

Tips for drawing a food truck
- Draw the box first and keep its corners square, then fit the serving window and menu board on its side so everything lines up.
- The scalloped awning is the trickiest part. Make a row of small bumps that are all about the same size, then add a short stripe line from each dip.
- Draw both wheels the same size. Use a coin or a cup bottom to trace a circle if yours come out wobbly.

Try bright yellow or red for the truck body, with stripes on the awning that alternate two colors. For a creative twist, give your truck a name on the roof sign and fill the menu board with your favorite foods.
