Step 1: Guide shapes
Lightly sketch this oval. It only shows where the big parts go, so press softly. You will erase it at the end.
Step 2: The round head
Draw a big circle in the middle of the page for the chef's head. Leave a small gap at the top where the hat will sit.
Step 3: Puffy hat top
Above the head, draw a row of three round bumps side by side, like three small clouds. Start at the left side of the gap and end at the right side.
Step 4: The hat band
Under the puffs, draw a wide rectangle across the top of the head. Its sides line up with the bottoms of the puffs.
Step 5: Coat and smile
Below the head, draw a tall coat shape with a bumpy collar at the top and straight sides going down. Then add a small curved smile near the bottom of the face.
Step 6: Apron and shoes
Draw a trapezoid on the front of the coat, wider at the bottom. Then add two flat ovals at the bottom for shoes.
Step 7: Arms and hands
On the right, draw a bent arm reaching up and out, with a small circle for the hand at the end and a few tiny dots above it. On the left, draw a curved line for the other arm.
Step 8: Eyes and mustache
Add two round dots for eyes in the middle of the face. Under them, draw a big wavy mustache above the smile.
Step 9: Paddle
On the left, draw a big circle for the paddle. Then draw a long straight handle going down from it, ending in a small circle for the hand.
Step 10: The pizza pan
Next to the raised hand, draw a wide tilted oval for the pan. Draw a smaller oval inside it for the pizza and add two dots for toppings.
All done!
Erase the guide shapes, go over your lines, then color it in.

Tips for drawing a pizza chef
- Draw the three hat puffs before the band. The band can sit over the bottoms of the puffs and hide any messy spots.
- The mustache is the trickiest part. Draw one wide wavy shape under the eyes and above the smile.
- Draw the pan as a tilted oval, then put a smaller oval inside it. Leaving a gap between the two ovals makes the pan edge look real.
