Step 1: Guide shapes
Lightly sketch this oval. It only shows where the big parts go, so press softly. You will erase it at the end.
Step 2: The plate rim
Draw a big circle in the middle of your paper, leaving room on the right for a fork. This is the outer edge of the plate.
Step 3: The inner circle
Draw a smaller circle inside the first one, leaving a gap all the way around. It makes the dip in the middle of the plate.
Step 4: Two egg whites
Near the top of the inner circle, draw two wobbly rounded squares side by side, like puddles. Leave a little gap between them, and let their tops touch the inner circle.
Step 5: Two yolks
Inside each egg white, draw a small circle for the yolk. These look like two round eyes!
Step 6: Wavy bacon smile
Under the eggs, draw one long wavy strip that starts on the left and curves down toward the middle. Then draw a matching strip on the right so the two strips curve up like a big smile.
Step 7: The fork
To the right of the plate, draw a tall skinny fork. Start with two tines on the sides that curve in and join into a long handle. Add a short third tine in the middle between them.
All done!
Erase the guide shapes, go over your lines, then color it in.

Tips for drawing bacon and eggs
- Draw the inner circle with about the same gap from the plate rim all the way around. Going slowly and turning your paper as you draw can help.
- Bacon is the trickiest part. Make each strip by wiggling your pencil slowly, with rounded bumps, and don't worry if the two strips are not exactly alike.
- Draw the yolk circles after the egg whites, and keep them in the middle so each egg white has an even edge around its yolk.

How to color your bacon and eggs drawing
Use pale yellow or white for the plate, bright yellow for the yolks, and pinkish red or reddish brown for the bacon. For a creative twist, give the plate a patterned border with stripes or little flowers.
Bacon and eggs fun fact for kids
Egg yolks get their yellow-orange color from what the hen eats, like corn and grass. A hen lays about one egg a day, and she needs around 24 to 26 hours to make each one.
Questions about drawing bacon and eggs
What shapes do I need to draw bacon and eggs?
You need two circles for the plate, two rounded squares for the egg whites and two small circles for the yolks. The bacon is two wavy strips, and the fork is a long thin shape with three tines.
How do I make the bacon look wavy?
Draw the strip slowly and let your pencil bump up and down along both edges. Make the top and bottom edges wiggle in the same places so the strip keeps an even width.
How do I make my bacon and eggs face look cuter?
Draw the two bacon strips so they curve up a little higher at the ends for a bigger smile. You can also make the yolk circles a bit larger so the eyes look wide and friendly.
