Step 1: Guide shapes
Lightly sketch this oval. It only shows where the big parts go, so press softly. You will erase it at the end.
Step 2: The bowl
Draw a wide oval for the rim of the bowl, leaving a tiny gap near the top right. Then draw a big curved U shape hanging down from both sides of the oval, like a round belly.
Step 3: The little foot
At the bottom of the bowl, draw a short shape like a squished box with a slightly wider bottom. This is the foot the bowl stands on.
Step 4: The milk
Inside the top oval, draw a wobbly blob that follows the shape of the rim. Give it a pointy left end and a bumpy right edge.
Step 5: Cereal rings in the milk
Draw three small rings floating in the milk, one a little higher than the other two. For each one, draw a circle, a smaller circle inside it, and a tiny dot in the middle.
Step 6: The spoon
On the right, draw a small oval for the scoop sitting in the milk. Then draw a long skinny stick going up and to the right from the scoop, with a rounded end at the top.
Step 7: The happy face
On the front of the bowl, draw two small dots for eyes. Under them, draw a little curved smile.
Step 8: Cereal on the table
Draw one cereal ring on each side of the bowl, down low next to the foot. For each one, make a circle, then a smaller circle inside it, then a tiny dot in the center.
All done!
Erase the guide shapes, go over your lines, then color it in.

Tips for drawing a bowl of cereal
- Draw the top oval of the bowl first and make it wide. If the oval is too skinny, the milk and the cereal rings will not fit inside.
- For the spoon, start with a small tilted oval for the scoop. Then draw a long skinny stick that goes up and to the right with a rounded end.
- For each cereal ring, draw the big circle first, then a smaller circle inside it, then a tiny dot in the middle. Try to keep the same space all the way around so each ring looks neat.
