Step 1: Guide shapes
Lightly sketch this oval. It only shows where the big parts go, so press softly. You will erase it at the end.
Step 2: The outer heart
Draw a big heart shape for the outside of the box. Start at the small dip in the middle top, curve out and down both sides, and meet at a point at the bottom.
Step 3: The inner heart
Draw a smaller heart inside the first one, following the same curves with an even gap all the way around. This makes the edge of the box.
Step 4: The ribbon bow
At the dip at the top of the heart, draw two small loops that point up and out, like tiny bunny ears. Cross two short tails where the loops meet.
Step 5: Round chocolates
Inside the inner heart, draw a circle on the upper left, a circle in the middle, and a circle below it near the bottom point. Make them all about the same size.
Step 6: Square chocolates
Draw three squares with round corners: one on the upper right, one to the left of the middle circle, and one to the right of it. Leave a little space between neighbors.
Step 7: Candy toppings
Put a small dot in the upper left circle and another in the bottom circle, and a little curl in the middle circle. Give the squares simple marks: a wave on the left one, a check mark on the lower right one, and a small arch on the upper right one.
All done!
Erase the guide shapes, go over your lines, then color it in.

Tips for drawing a box of chocolates
- Draw the inner heart after the outer one and keep the gap even, like a picture frame, so the box looks like it has a thick edge.
- Draw the circles and squares one at a time and leave room between the candies so they do not touch.
- Keep the toppings simple. A dot, a curl, a wave and a check mark are just easy little lines, so take your time and go slowly.
