A caramel pudding is a fun thing to draw because it looks like a little character with a smile. It is built from simple shapes: a curved arc for the top, slanted lines for the sides, an oval for the plate, upside-down U shapes for the drips, and a circle for the cherry.

Step 1: Guide shapes
Lightly sketch this oval. It only shows where the big parts go, so press softly. You will erase it at the end.
Step 2: Pudding body
Draw a curved arc for the back edge of the top, leaving a small gap in the middle. From each end, draw a slanted side that spreads out going down, then join the sides with a gentle curve at the bottom.
Step 3: The plate
Draw a big flat oval under the pudding, wider than the pudding on both sides. Let the bottom of the pudding sit right on top of it.
Step 4: The caramel edge
Inside the top, draw a gently curved line from the left side of the pudding to the right side, along the front edge of the top. This is where the caramel will drip down.
Step 5: Caramel drips
Draw three upside-down U shapes hanging from the curved line. Make the middle one a little longer than the two on the sides.
Step 6: The cherry
Draw a small circle sitting on the middle of the top, over the gap in the top edge. Add a short curved line growing up from it for the stem.
Step 7: A happy face
Draw two small dots for eyes on the front of the pudding, below the drips. Add a little curved smile between them, lower down.
Step 8: Wobble lines
Draw a short curved line like a bracket on the left side and another on the right, a little away from the pudding. They show that it is jiggling.
All done!
Erase the guide shapes, go over your lines, then color it in.

Tips for drawing a caramel pudding
- Make the plate oval much wider than the pudding so the pudding looks like it is sitting on it.
- Draw the drips as upside-down U shapes that hang from the curved line, and make the middle one longer. Keep them rounded at the bottom so they look like sticky caramel.
- Put the eyes and smile low on the body, with the eyes far apart. A small smile with lots of space around it looks sweet.
