Step 1: Guide shapes
Lightly sketch this oval. It only shows where the big parts go, so press softly. You will erase it at the end.
Step 2: The jar body
Draw a tall rounded shape like a big rounded rectangle, but leave the top open. Start at the upper left, curve down the side, round the bottom corners, and go up the right side.
Step 3: Lid and knob
Across the open top of the jar, draw a long rounded rectangle for the lid. Then add a small arch on top of the lid for the knob.
Step 4: The label
In the lower middle of the jar, draw a rectangle with rounded corners. This is the label sticker.
Step 5: Heart on the label
Inside the label, draw a heart. Start with two bumps at the top that meet in a dip, then curve down to a point at the bottom.
Step 6: Two lollipop circles
Near the top of the jar, below the lid, draw two circles side by side. These are the round tops of two lollipops.
Step 7: Swirls, stick and candy
Inside each circle, draw a little spiral that curls in like a snail shell. Then draw a straight stick down from the right circle and a wrapped candy at the bottom of the stick: an oval with a small bow-tie shape on each end.
Step 8: More wrapped candies
Draw a straight stick down from the left circle and finish it with a wrapped candy at the bottom, just like the right one. Then draw one more wrapped candy in the middle, between the two sticks.
Step 9: Candies outside the jar
Outside the jar, draw one more wrapped candy on each side near the bottom. Use an oval with a bow-tie shape on each end, just like the ones inside.
All done!
Erase the guide shapes, go over your lines, then color it in.

Tips for drawing a candy jar
- Draw the jar body tall and wide, and leave the top open. The lid will close it in the next step.
- For a wrapped candy, draw the oval first, then add the two bow-tie ends. Make both ends the same size so the candy looks balanced.
- Draw each lollipop stick straight down from its circle. Go slowly if your line wobbles.
