How to draw a slice of pizza step by step

How to Draw a Slice of Pizza · tinyhandscreate.com

  1. Step 1: The crust

Draw a long, flat rounded rectangle across the top of the page, like a fat sausage lying on its side. Make the ends nice and round.

  2. Step 2: The left side

Start at the bottom left corner of the crust and draw a long line that slants down and in toward the middle. Stop at a point near the bottom of the page.

  3. Step 3: The right side

Start at the bottom right corner of the crust and draw a matching line slanting down and in. Meet the first line at the pointy tip to finish the triangle.

  4. Step 4: The cheese drip

Under the crust, a little left of the middle, draw a small upside-down U that hangs down like a drip of melted cheese. Start and end on the bottom line of the crust.

  5. Step 5: Top pepperonis

Draw a small circle near each top corner of the slice, tucked up against the side lines. Try to make them about the same size.

  6. Step 6: The big pepperoni

Near the bottom, draw one bigger circle in the middle of the slice. Take your time to make it nice and round.

  7. Step 7: The happy face

Draw two small dots for eyes in the middle of the slice, with space between them. Add a little curved smile between them, a bit lower than the dots.

  8. All done!

Go over your lines with a marker, then color it in.

Tips for drawing a slice of pizza

  • Draw the crust first and leave room below it, because the triangle sides need space to slant down to the tip.
  • Draw both side lines lightly so they meet at the same point. If the tip looks off, erase and try again.
  • For round pepperonis, trace a coin or bottle cap lightly in pencil, or draw a square first and round off the corners.
