Step 1: Guide shapes
Lightly sketch this oval. It only shows where the big parts go, so press softly. You will erase it at the end.
Step 2: Body outline
Draw the outline of a tall capsule, like a big jelly bean standing up. Start with a round top, run the sides straight down, and curve the bottom into a rounded belly.
Step 3: The goggles
Across the upper part of the body, draw a sideways figure eight: one bigger circle joined to a slightly smaller one. Add a short strap at each end that reaches the edge of the body.
Step 4: Goggle lenses
Draw a second circle just inside each goggle circle, leaving a thin even gap all the way around. These make the rims of the lenses.
Step 5: Eyes and smile
Inside each lens, draw a small circle with a dot in the middle for the eye. Under the goggles, add a small curved smile that lifts up a little on one side.
Step 6: Wispy hair
On top of the head, draw a few short, thin lines that flick outward from two spots near the middle, like little blades of grass.
Step 7: Overalls and pocket
Draw a straight line across the belly for the top of the overalls. From each end, draw a slanted strap going up to the side of the body, add a small circle button on each strap, then draw a rounded pocket in the middle like a little bucket.
Step 8: Arms and sleeves
On each side of the body, draw a long arm that hangs down from the strap. Add a short line across each arm for the edge of the sleeve.
Step 9: Gloved hands
At the bottom of each arm, draw a small, rounded mitten shape for a hand. Add little bumps for the fingers and thumb.
Step 10: Legs and shoes
Under the belly, draw two very short legs side by side. At the bottom of each leg, draw a rounded oval shoe that sits flat on the ground.
All done!
Erase the guide shapes, go over your lines, then color it in.

Tips for drawing Bob the Minion
- Draw the goggles lightly first. The big circle and the smaller circle should touch, so they look like a sideways figure eight.
- Keep the gap between each inner lens ring and the goggle ring about the same all the way around, so the eyes look neat and round.
- Hair is the easiest part to overthink. Use quick, thin flicks that start near the middle of the top of the head and curve outward.

Questions about drawing Bob the Minion
What shapes do I need to draw Bob the Minion?
You need a tall capsule for the body, two circles joined together for the goggles, a small curved line for the smile, and a rounded bucket shape for the pocket. Small ovals work well for the shoes.
How do I make my Minion look cuter?
Make the eyes a little bigger and put the pupils close together, looking slightly to one side. A small, uneven smile also gives Bob a lot of personality.
How do I draw the goggles so they look even?
Sketch the big circle first, then draw the second one beside it so they overlap a little. Add the inner lens circles last, keeping the same space around each one.
