Step 1: Guide shapes
Lightly sketch these 2 ovals. They only show where the big parts go, so press softly. You will erase them at the end.
Step 2: The big head
Start with a big round circle for the head, a little wider than tall. Leave a small gap at the top where the flame will go.
Step 3: Body and feet
Under the head, draw two curved lines that go down from the chin to make a rounded body. At the bottom, add two little rounded feet with short leg lines between them.
Step 4: Round ears
On each side of the head, draw a half circle that starts and ends on the head line. Make both ears the same size.
Step 5: Flame tuft
On top of the head, draw a pointy flame shape with a tall middle tip and a smaller point on each side. Start and end the flame at the two ends of the gap in the head.
Step 6: Face patch
Inside the head, draw a wide shape like a heart with a small dip at the top middle. Let the sides curve down and inward at the bottom to make the cheeks, and leave the bottom open.
Step 7: Eyes and smile
Draw two big round dots for eyes, spaced apart inside the face patch. Between the eyes and a little lower, add a tiny wavy smile.
Step 8: Curly tail
Next to the body on one side, draw a curvy line that starts at the body, swoops out and curls up at the tip like a hook.
Step 9: Inner ear lines
Inside each ear, add a tiny short line next to the head. Keep both lines small and the same.
All done!
Erase the guide shapes, go over your lines, then color it in.

Tips for drawing Pansear from Pokemon
- Draw the head circle first and keep it big. Everything else is easier when the head sets the size.
- The flame tuft is the trickiest part. Make the tall tip in the middle first, then add the two small points beside it.
- Draw the ears as half circles that touch the head. Try to make both ears the same size so Pansear looks balanced.
