How to draw Dracula from Hotel Transylvania step by step

How to Draw Dracula From Hotel Transylvania · tinyhandscreate.com

  1. Step 1: Chin and ears

Start at the left side of the face and draw a curved line that swoops down and back up like a smile to make the chin and jaw. Add a small curl at each end for the ears.

  2. Step 2: Slicked-back hair

Draw a big curved line over the top of the head, from one ear to the other. Then draw the hairline just inside it, a wide W shape with a point in the middle of the forehead.

  3. Step 3: Eyes and smile

Draw two round dots for the eyes, side by side. Under them, draw a small open smile shaped like a half circle with a flat top.

  4. Step 4: The tall collar

Draw a tall pointed collar on each side of the neck. Each one starts near the chin, sticks out sideways like a triangle, and ends in a point.

  5. Step 5: Neck and bow

Draw a V-shaped neckline under the chin where the two collars meet. Add a little rounded rectangle in the middle, like a small bow or pendant.

  6. Step 6: The cape sides

From each collar, draw a long curved line that sweeps out and down like a wide bell. End each side with a little flick at the bottom.

  7. Step 7: Front and bottom

Draw two gently curved lines going straight down from the collar to make the front of the outfit. Join them along the bottom with one long, slightly curved line.

  8. Step 8: Cape folds

Add one short curved line inside each side of the cape to show a fold. Each one starts partway down and follows the outside edge of the cape.

  9. All done!

Go over your lines with a marker, then color it in.

Tips for drawing Dracula from Hotel Transylvania

  • Draw the head and chin lightly first so the ears and hair sit in the right spot. You can erase the extra lines later.
  • The hairline is the trickiest part. Think of it as a wide letter W with a pointy middle, and draw it slowly.
  • Make the two sides of the cape match by drawing one side, then copying its angle on the other. A small bit of wobble makes it look more fun.
