How to draw Gnomeo from Gnomeo & Juliet step by step
How to Draw Gnomeo From Gnomeo & Juliet · tinyhandscreate.com
Step 1: Guide shapes
Lightly sketch this oval. It only shows where the big parts go, so press softly. You will erase it at the end.
Step 2: The tall hat
Start at the top with a tall, bendy cone that curls a little at the tip, like a leaning party hat. Close the bottom with a wide curved brim, and add a tiny short line near each side.
Step 3: Fluffy beard
Under the brim, draw a curved line down each side for the cheeks. Join them at the bottom with a bumpy, wavy line that dips to a little point in the middle.
Step 4: Curly ears
Add a small curly C-shaped ear on each side of the face, just under the hat brim. Try to make them match.
Step 5: Eyes and nose
Draw two round dots for eyes, one on each side. Between and a little below them, draw a small rounded oval for the nose.
Step 6: The mustache
Under the nose, draw a wavy mustache that swoops out to each side and curls up at the ends. Start in the middle and work to one side, then the other.
Step 7: Arms
Draw a curved arm hanging down on each side of the beard. Each arm ends in a small rounded hand at the bottom.
Step 8: Belt and buckle
Draw a thick belt stretching across the middle, one piece on each side of the beard. In the center, add a small buckle shaped like a rounded rectangle.
Step 9: Legs and boots
Draw a short curved line down from each end of the belt. Finish with two big oval boots side by side at the bottom.
All done!
Erase the guide shapes, go over your lines, then color it in.

Tips for drawing Gnomeo from Gnomeo & Juliet
- Draw the hat tip with a gentle curl. It does not have to be perfectly straight, and the bend gives him personality.
- Make the two ears about the same size by drawing the first one, then checking the second against it.
- The bumpy beard is the trickiest part. Think of it as small waves, and take your time with each bump.
