How to Draw a Siamese Cat (Easy Step by Step)
This Siamese cat is built almost entirely from ovals, so it is a great first cat for young artists. You start with a big head and the top of the body, then add pointy ears, front paws, feet, a little face, long whiskers and a curly tail. The sweet little face in the middle is what gives it so much character.

Step 1: Guide shapes
Lightly sketch this oval. It only shows where the big parts go, so press softly. You will erase it at the end.
Step 2: The head
Draw a big wide oval for the head near the top of your page. It's okay to leave tiny gaps on the left and right sides.
Step 3: Top of the body
Under the head, draw two short curves that start at the bottom of the head and bend outward and down, one on the left and one on the right. They are the top of the cat's body.
Step 4: The pointy ears
On each top corner of the head, draw a tall triangle with a curved side. Then draw a smaller curved line inside each ear.
Step 5: The front paws
Draw a tall, skinny oval on each side of the body, tilted a little. They hang down like arms and touch the body at the top.
Step 6: The feet
At the bottom, draw two flat, wide ovals for the feet, one on each side. Add a short curved line across the top of each foot, and join the feet with a little curve in the middle.
Step 7: The face patch
Inside the head, draw a smaller oval in the middle for the face patch. It should be about half as wide as the head.
Step 8: Eyes, nose and smile
Put a tiny dot for each eye on the left and right sides of the face patch. Near the bottom, draw a small nose with a little curvy smile right under it.
Step 9: Whiskers
Draw two straight lines sticking out from each cheek, one a little higher than the other. Make both sides match.
Step 10: The curly tail
Start near the right foot and draw a long, bendy line that curves up the side of the cat. Add a tiny curl at the tip.
All done!
Erase the guide shapes, go over your lines, then color it in.

Tips for drawing a Siamese cat
- Draw the head oval nice and wide before anything else. The ears and whiskers all attach to it, so a good head makes everything easier.
- The two front paws are the trickiest part. Draw each one as a tall, skinny oval that tilts a little, and tuck the top against the body.
- Make the whiskers the same length on both sides. Draw the top ones first, then the bottom ones, so they match.

How to color your Siamese cat drawing
Siamese cats are cream colored with dark brown or gray on the ears, face, paws and tail, so try that look with a light tan body. For a creative twist, give your cat sparkly blue eyes.
Siamese cat fun fact for kids
Siamese kittens are born almost completely white. Their darker ears, face, paws and tail slowly appear as they grow, because those cooler parts of the body make more dark color.
