How to draw a scooter step by step

How to Draw a Scooter · tinyhandscreate.com

  1. Step 1: Seat, body and floor

Start with a long, flat seat shaped like a rounded rectangle. Then draw a big curve that goes down from the left end of the seat, and a straight line across the bottom going to the right to make the floor.

  2. Step 2: The back wheel

Draw a big circle that tucks up under the back of the body, so the top of the circle touches the floor line. Add a small circle in the middle for the hub.

  3. Step 3: The front panel

At the right end of the floor, draw a tall, narrow shape that leans a little to the right as it goes up, like a long thin leaf. Finish the top with a small curl, like the tip of a leaf.

  4. Step 4: The front wheel

Draw another big circle on the right, the same size as the back wheel, and put a small circle in the middle.

  5. Step 5: The fork

Draw one straight line going up from the center of the front wheel. Stop a little above the wheel, below the front panel.

  6. Step 6: Handlebar and light

Draw a slanted line going up and to the left from the front panel, and put a small circle at the end for the handle. Then draw a bigger circle on the right for the headlight, joined to the panel by a short line.

  7. Step 7: Light dot and swoosh

Fill in a small round dot inside the headlight. Then draw a gentle curved swoosh on the side of the body.

  8. All done!

Go over your lines with a marker, then color it in.

Tips for drawing a scooter

  • Draw the two wheels about the same size. Trace a small round lid or coin first if your circles come out wobbly.
  • The tall front panel is the trickiest part. Start at the right end of the floor and lean the line forward a little as it goes up, then curl the top.
  • Draw the fork line straight up from the middle of the front wheel. Use the edge of a ruler or a book if you want it extra straight.
