Step 1: Guide shapes
Lightly sketch this oval. It only shows where the big parts go, so press softly. You will erase it at the end.
Step 2: Head and ears
Draw a large wide oval for the head. Then add two pointy triangle ears on top, one on each side, with their bottoms tucked into the head.
Step 3: Nostrils, smile, shoulders
Draw two tiny dots side by side in the middle of the face for nostrils, with a small curved smile just below them. Then draw two short curved lines going down and outward from under the chin for the top of the body, and a short curve far below for the bottom of the tummy.
Step 4: Arms
Draw a tall, skinny oval on each side of the body, tilted a little. Each arm starts near the shoulder line and hangs down.
Step 5: Feet
At the bottom left, draw a small oval for the foot. At the bottom right, draw a curved line that bends up to make the other foot, and let both feet meet the tummy curve between them.
Step 6: Eyes
Draw two small dots on the face, spaced apart and above the nostrils.
Step 7: Snout
Draw a wide oval around the two nostril dots to make the snout. The smile stays just below it.
Step 8: Curly tail
On the right side, start at the bottom of the right foot and draw a line stretching out to the right. Finish it with a small loop and a curl at the end.
Step 9: Belly and soles
Draw a circle in the middle of the tummy. Then draw a small oval inside each foot to make the soles.
All done!
Erase the guide shapes, go over your lines, then color it in.

Tips for drawing a piglet
- Draw the head oval nice and wide. A wide head makes the piglet look young and cute.
- Draw the tiny nostril dots early, then draw the snout oval around them in a later step. Keep the snout wide and low on the face, below the eyes.
- The curly tail is the trickiest part. Draw a line out to the right, then make a small loop and curl the end.
