How to Draw a Crystal Ball (Easy Step by Step)
A crystal ball is fun to draw because it is mostly one big circle with a few simple shapes inside. You will use a circle, a bell-shaped stand, small U shapes, a star, a crescent moon, and little diamond sparkles. Each part is easy by itself, and together they make a magic picture.

Step 1: Guide shapes
Lightly sketch this oval. It only shows where the big parts go, so press softly. You will erase it at the end.
Step 2: The glass ball
Draw a big round circle, but stop a little short at the bottom so there is a small gap where the stand will join. Make it nice and round, like a giant bubble.
Step 3: The neck
Draw two short lines going down from the bottom of the ball, one on the left side of the gap and one on the right. They are the narrow neck that holds the ball.
Step 4: The stand
Draw a gently curved line across between the two neck lines. Then flare the sides out wide like a bell and close the bottom with a long, slightly curved line.
Step 5: Three little feet
Under the stand, draw three small upside-down U shapes. Put one on the left, one in the middle, and one on the right.
Step 6: The shiny curve
Inside the ball near the top left, draw a short curved line that follows the edge of the circle. This makes the glass look shiny.
Step 7: The star
Inside the ball on the left, draw a small five-pointed star. Start at one point and zigzag around until you meet where you began.
Step 8: The moon
On the right inside the ball, draw a thin crescent moon. Make a curve like the letter C, then close it with a second, shallower curve.
Step 9: Sparkles outside
Around the ball, draw three little sparkles. Each one is a small diamond shape with four corners.
All done!
Erase the guide shapes, go over your lines, then color it in.

Tips for drawing a crystal ball
- Draw the big circle lightly first so you can fix it. Leave a little gap at the bottom where the neck will connect.
- Keep the star small and simple. Start at one point and zigzag around to make the five points.
- For the sparkles, draw a small diamond with four corners. Make three of them, spaced around the ball.
