How to Draw a Baby Stroller (Easy Step by Step)
A baby stroller is a friendly drawing made from just a few simple shapes: a bowl, a dome, two circles and a heart. The crossed frame under the bowl makes it look like it could really roll across the page. It is a great first project for kids who are ready to put several shapes together.

Step 1: Guide shapes
Lightly sketch this oval. It only shows where the big parts go, so press softly. You will erase it at the end.
Step 2: Body and handle
Draw a long flat line across the page, then curve a big smile shape underneath it, like a bowl or half circle. Add a handle on the left that goes up from the left end of the flat line and bends into a little hook at the top.
Step 3: The hood
Start at the left end of the flat line and draw a big curved dome that arches up and over. Bring the right side down in a gentle curve so it lands back on the flat line, about in the middle.
Step 4: Hood ribs
Inside the hood, draw two curved lines that follow the shape of the dome. Start each one near the top and let it swoop down to the flat line.
Step 5: The heart
On the right side of the bowl, draw a small heart. Make two little bumps on top and pull the lines down to a point.
Step 6: The two wheels
Draw a circle under the left side of the bowl and another circle under the right side. Try to make them about the same size.
Step 7: Frame and spokes
Draw two lines that cross in an X under the bowl, with each line reaching down to a wheel. Then add a plus sign inside each wheel with a tiny circle in the center for the hub.
All done!
Erase the guide shapes, go over your lines, then color it in.

Tips for drawing a baby stroller
- Draw the flat top line first and the curved bowl second. If the bowl starts and ends exactly on that line, the body will look neat and closed.
- The crossed frame is the trickiest part. Make a light X under the bowl first, then let the ends reach the two wheels.
- Draw the wheels as two circles of the same size. Trace around a small cup or a coin if your circles come out wobbly.

How to color your baby stroller drawing
Soft pastel colors like baby blue, pink or mint look lovely on the bowl and hood, and gray or black works well for the wheels. For a creative twist, color the hood in stripes or draw a tiny teddy bear peeking out of the stroller.
Baby stroller fun fact for kids
One of the first baby carriages was built in England in 1733 by William Kent for the children of the Duke of Devonshire, and it was designed to be pulled by a goat or a small pony.
