How to Draw a Superhero Girl (Easy Step by Step)
A superhero girl is a fun drawing because every part is a simple shape: a round head, two floppy pigtails, a mask and a flowing cape. The little lightning bolt on her top turns a plain girl into a hero. Once you know the shapes, you can make your own hero.

Step 1: Guide shapes
Lightly sketch these 2 ovals. They only show where the big parts go, so press softly. You will erase them at the end.
Step 2: The head
Draw a big round shape for her head, a little wider than it is tall. Leave a small gap at the bottom, where her neck will join.
Step 3: Neck and body
Draw a short curved line across the bottom of the head. Then draw two long lines going down from its ends, curving a little outward at the bottom, to make the sides of her body.
Step 4: Pigtails and bangs
On each side of the head, draw a big floppy loop that looks like a bunny ear, starting at the top of the head. Add a wavy line across her forehead for the bangs.
Step 5: The mask
Draw a wide mask across her face that dips in the middle, like a sideways figure eight. Keep it as an empty shape for now.
Step 6: Arms
On the left side of the picture, draw a small arm hanging down next to her body, ending in a little circle for the hand. On the right, draw a long thin oval raised up high, with a small circle at the top end.
Step 7: The cape
On each side, start at her shoulder and draw a long curved line sloping out and down. Close each side with a short wavy line at the bottom that comes back to her body.
Step 8: Belt and skirt hem
Draw two straight lines across her middle to make a belt. Then draw a curved line along the bottom of her body for the skirt edge, with a tiny tick in the center.
Step 9: Feet
Under the skirt, draw the bottom curves of two ovals side by side for her boots. Let them touch in the middle.
Step 10: Face and lightning bolt
Put a small dot eye inside each side of the mask and add a little curved smile below it. Then draw a small zigzag lightning bolt on the middle of her top.
All done!
Erase the guide shapes, go over your lines, then color it in.

Tips for drawing a superhero girl
- Draw the head with a small gap at the bottom. The neck lines will then join it smoothly.
- The mask is the trickiest part. Start with a long, flat oval, then gently push the bottom line up in the middle to make the nose dip.
- Draw the lightning bolt small and simple, like a little zigzag, so it fits on her top.

What shapes do I need to draw a superhero girl?
