Step 1: Guide shapes
Lightly sketch this oval. It only shows where the big parts go, so press softly. You will erase it at the end.
Step 2: Head and mask line
Draw a big rounded head, like an egg lying on its side, starting at the left and curving up and over the top. Then draw a wavy line across the lower part of the head that dips in the middle, and finish with a short curve down the left side for the cheek.
Step 3: Body top and side
Under the head, draw a short flat line for the top of the body. From its right end, draw a wobbly line straight down for the side of the body.
Step 4: Boots
At the bottom of the body line, draw two side-by-side ovals for the boots. Let them touch in the middle.
Step 5: Waving arm and fist
From the side of the body, draw two long lines going up and out to the right to make the raised arm. Finish it with a small circle at the top for the fist.
Step 6: The flowing cape
Behind the body, on the left, draw a wide curved shape that sweeps out to the side. Give the bottom edge a few zigzag bumps, then add a curved line inside for a fold.
Step 7: Top of the mask
Across the middle of the head, draw a wavy line above the first one. Together they make a mask that looks like two joined bubbles.
Step 8: Face, bolt and body
Add two dots for eyes inside the mask and a little curved smile below. Then draw a small zigzag lightning bolt on the chest and finish the left side and bottom of the body.
Step 9: The belt
Draw two straight lines across the lower body to make a wide belt stripe.
Step 10: The top curl
On top of the head, draw one small wiggly line that curls up like a little antenna.
All done!
Erase the guide shapes, go over your lines, then color it in.

- Make the lightning bolt with a few short zigzag lines: down, across, then down again to a point.
- For the cape edge, draw small zigzag bumps and keep them uneven so it looks like it is flapping in the wind.
