Step 1: Guide shapes
Lightly sketch these 2 ovals. They only show where the big parts go, so press softly. You will erase them at the end.
Step 2: The head
Draw a wide, rounded head with two tall pointy ears on top. Add little zigzag fluffy tufts on each cheek, then curve the line under the chin.
Step 3: Body and tail
Under the head, draw a tall rounded body with a bumpy line along the bottom. On the right side, add a big puffy tail, with a short line between the body and the tail.
Step 4: Inner ears
Inside each ear, draw a small curved line near the edge that follows the shape of the ear.
Step 5: Eyes and nose
Draw two small dots for eyes. Between them, draw two short lines going down for the snout, then a small triangle nose at the bottom.
Step 6: Chest fluff
Just under the chin, draw a V shape with curved sides for the fluffy fur on the chest.
Step 7: Front legs
Draw two short straight lines down inside the body for the front legs. Then draw a long curvy line across the bottom, where the paws rest.
Step 8: Fur details
Add a few curved lines inside the tail. Then add two tiny lines by the legs and two short soft dashes near the bottom to make the fur look fluffy.
All done!
Erase the guide shapes, go over your lines, then color it in.

Tips for drawing an arctic fox
- Take your time with the cheek tufts on the head. Draw them as small zigzags, like two or three little triangles on each side.
- Draw the tail as a big puffy shape on the right side of the body. Keep its edge a little bumpy so it looks fluffy.
- Make the two eye dots the same size and keep them level. Matching dots make the fox look friendly right away.
