Step 1: Body outline
Start low on the left and draw a line straight up, then across the top with rounded corners. Step down to a lower, flat line going right, and end with a short line curving down. Leave the bottom open.
Step 2: The tracks
Under the body, draw a long rounded shape like a racetrack, with a flat line across the top where it meets the body.
Step 3: The wheels
Inside the track, draw four circles in a row, spaced evenly. Add a tiny dot in the middle of each one.
Step 4: The cab window
Inside the tall part of the body, draw a window shaped like a box with a slanted right side.
Step 5: The blade
On the right, draw a big shape like a leaf or a lemon, pointy at the top and the bottom and curved on both sides.
Step 6: Blade arms
Draw two short arms that reach from the front of the body over to the blade, one near the top and one near the bottom. Add a round dot where the top arm meets the body.
Step 7: The exhaust pipe
On top of the low part of the body, just right of the cab, draw a tall, narrow box with rounded corners for the pipe.
Step 8: Puffs of smoke
Above the pipe, draw two little rings floating up, a medium one first and a smaller one higher up and to the right.
All done!
Go over your lines with a marker, then color it in.

Tips for drawing a bulldozer
- Start the body outline with light pencil lines and make the left side tall for the cab. It is easier to fix a pencil sketch than a finished line.
- Draw the four wheels all the same size and space them evenly. Try drawing the first and last wheel, then fit the two middle ones in between.
- The blade is the trickiest part. Draw two curved lines that meet at a point at the top and the bottom, like a lemon seen from the side.

How to color your bulldozer drawing
Bulldozers are often bright yellow with dark gray tracks and a blade the color of steel. For a creative twist, give the smoke puffs rainbow colors.
Bulldozer fun fact for kids
Many bulldozers roll on metal tracks instead of tires. The tracks spread out the heavy weight so the machine does not sink into soft mud or sand.
