Step 1: Guide shapes
Lightly sketch this oval. It only shows where the big parts go, so press softly. You will erase it at the end.
Step 2: The body
Draw the outline of a round, chubby body. Start at the top left, curve down past a small bump for the cheek, then sweep along the bottom and up the right side. Leave the top open for now.
Step 3: The fluffy tail
On the right side, start where the body curves in and draw a big tail that sweeps up and out. Give the top a little pointy notch, then curve the line back down to meet the body near the bottom.
Step 4: The two big ears
Draw a small oval ear that rises from the top left of the head. Then draw a bigger oval ear on the right that leans outward. Join the two ears with a gentle dip across the top of the head.
Step 5: Inside ear line
Inside the right ear, draw a short, thin curved line that starts near the top of the ear and curves down toward the head.
Step 6: Eyes and mouth
Draw a small oval for the left eye and a small round eye with a tiny shine spot for the right eye. Between them and a little lower, draw a tiny curved line for the mouth.
Step 7: The little arms
On the belly, draw two short hook-shaped arms. Each one starts near the middle of the body, curves down, and ends in a little curl.
Step 8: The tiny foot
At the bottom left, draw a small pointed loop peeking out from the bottom of the body, like a tiny foot.
All done!
Erase the guide shapes, go over your lines, then color it in.

Tips for drawing Minccino from Pokemon
- Start with the body and take your time on the curves, so the head and belly come out round.
- The tail is the trickiest part. Draw the big sweeping curve first, then add the small pointy notch near the top.
- Make the ears different sizes: a smaller one on the left and a bigger one on the right, as in the picture.
- Keep the little mouth between the eyes and a bit lower down.

Minccino from Pokemon fun fact for kids
Minccino is based on a real animal, the chinchilla. Real chinchillas have very thick, soft fur, and they keep it clean by rolling in fine dust instead of using water.
Questions about drawing Minccino from Pokemon
What shapes do I need to draw Minccino?
You need a round body, two ovals for the ears, two small ovals for the eyes, and a big curved shape for the tail. Everything else is a short curved line.
How do I make my Minccino look cuter?
Keep the eyes small and the mouth tiny, and add a little shine spot to one eye. A very round body and a fluffy tail make it even sweeter.
Why is the tail hard to draw?
It has a long curved outline with a small pointy notch, which is a lot to do at once. Draw the big sweep first and add the notch slowly.
