How to Draw Togepi (Easy Step by Step)

Step 1: Guide shapes
Lightly sketch this oval. It only shows where the big parts go, so press softly. You will erase it at the end.
Step 2: Egg top and sides
Start low on the left and draw a tall egg shape that curves up over the top and back down the right side. It is wider near the bottom and a little narrower at the top. Stop near the bottom on each side and leave a gap between them.
Step 3: The zigzag shell
Draw a zigzag line across the lower part of the egg, going up and down like mountain peaks. Start at the left edge of the egg and end at the right edge.
Step 4: Two round eyes
Draw two small solid dots on the upper part of the egg, one on the left and one on the right. Keep them the same size and set them wide apart.
Step 5: Tiny smile
Between the eyes and a little lower, draw a tiny wavy line like a small squiggle.
Step 6: Little arms
On each side of the egg, near the zigzag, draw a small curved loop shaped like a leaf that sticks out from the body. Make both arms about the same size.
Step 7: The bottom curve
Draw a gentle curved line across the bottom of the egg that joins the two open ends of the sides. This closes the body.
Step 8: Two feet
Under the bottom curve, draw two small oval feet, one on the left and one on the right. Let the top of each oval touch the bottom of the egg.
All done!
Erase the guide shapes, go over your lines, then color it in.

- Draw the egg slowly. The top should be narrower than the bottom, and leave a gap at the bottom for now.
