Step 1: Guide shapes
Lightly sketch these 2 ovals. They only show where the big parts go, so press softly. You will erase them at the end.
Step 2: The head
Start with a wide rounded shape for the face, a bit like a fat bean. Add two round ears on the top corners, with a small dip where each ear meets the head. Leave the bottom open for now.
Step 3: The body
Under the head, draw the sides of a tall rounded body like an egg. Give it two little bumps at the bottom for the feet, with a small dip between them.
Step 4: Bottle, paws and tail
In the middle of the tummy, draw a small baby bottle with a round bump for the nipple on top, reaching up to the chin. Add a short curved line on each side of the bottle for the paws, and a small curved line on the right side of the body to start the tail.
Step 5: The arm
On the right side of the bottle, draw a small curved line like a letter C turned backward. It shows the arm hugging the bottle.
Step 6: Tail tip
At the end of the tail on the right, draw a small round blob. Fill it in.
Step 7: Right cheek stripes
On the right side of the face, draw three short slanted lines. Start each one at the edge of the face and point it toward the middle.
Step 8: Face details
On the left side of the face, draw three short slanted lines to match the right side. Then add two small curved eyes and a small oval nose between them, and fill in the nose. Finish with a short curved line across the top of the forehead.
Step 9: Forehead stripe
Draw a short straight line down from the top of the head, crossing the curved line on the forehead. Add a shorter curved line below it.
All done!
Erase the guide shapes, go over your lines, then color it in.

Tips for drawing a tiger cub drinking from a bottle
- Draw the head wider than it is tall. A wide, rounded shape makes the cub look young and cute.
- Draw the bottle first, then the little arm, so the arm looks like it wraps around the bottle.
- Draw the stripes lightly and with a little curve. Short, curved lines look friendlier than straight ones.
