How to draw a vampire puppy step by step

How to Draw a Vampire Puppy · tinyhandscreate.com

  1. Step 1: Guide shapes

Lightly sketch this oval. It only shows where the big parts go, so press softly. You will erase it at the end.

  2. Step 2: Head and floppy ears

Start at the bottom of one side and draw a big curved line up and over the top, then down the other side. The wide, bumpy shape makes the head with a floppy ear on each side, and both ends stop near the bottom of the ears.

  3. Step 3: Inner ear lines

On each side, draw a short curved line that starts inside the bottom of the ear and curves down toward the bottom of the head. These lines separate the ears from the round cheeks.

  4. Step 4: The cape

Under the chin, draw a wide cape that flares out wider at the bottom, with the sides slanting outward from the head. Close the bottom with a slightly uneven edge, add a little bump near the middle, and fill the whole cape in solid.

  5. Step 5: Paws and body bottom

Below the cape, draw a wavy line along the bottom with two round bumps for the front paws and a small gap between them. Keep going to the right, curving up under the edge of the cape.

  6. Step 6: The tail

On the right side, near the bottom of the cape, draw a short slanted line. It shows the little tail peeking out from under the cape.

  7. Step 7: The cute face

Draw two round dots for eyes, wide apart. Between and below them, draw a smile of two little curves that meet in the middle, with a short line going up from the point where they meet.

  8. All done!

Erase the guide shapes, go over your lines, then color it in.

Tips for drawing a vampire puppy

  • Draw the head and ears as one wide, bumpy shape so the ears have room to flop out on both sides.
  • The cape is the trickiest part. Make both sides slant outward by about the same amount so it looks balanced, then fill it in solid.
  • Keep the face small and low on the head, with the eyes far apart. That is what makes the puppy look sweet.
