How to draw ladoos step by step

How to Draw Ladoos · tinyhandscreate.com

  1. Step 1: Guide shapes

Lightly sketch this oval. It only shows where the big parts go, so press softly. You will erase it at the end.

  2. Step 2: The top ladoo

Start near the top of your page and draw the top part of a round ball, like an upside-down U. Leave the bottom open, because the next ladoos will tuck in there.

  3. Step 3: The middle row

Draw two curved arches side by side just under the top ball, one on the left and one on the right. Let their inner ends meet in a little dip right below the top ball.

  4. Step 4: Bottom row, top curves

Draw an arch on the far left and another on the far right, a bit lower than the middle row. Start each one near the bottom of a middle ball and curve it up and down the outside edge.

  5. Step 5: Bottom row, round bottoms

Draw one wavy line of three smiles along the bottom of the pile. The left and right smiles close the outside ladoos, and the middle smile makes the third ladoo between them.

  6. Step 6: The plate

Draw a wide, flat oval under the ladoos for the plate. Start at the bottom of the left ladoo, sweep around underneath, and end at the bottom of the right ladoo.

  7. Step 7: Lines and sprinkles

Draw short curved lines where the ladoos press together, so the pile looks stacked. Then add a few little dots on each ladoo for the nuts and sprinkles.

  8. All done!

Erase the guide shapes, go over your lines, then color it in.

Tips for drawing ladoos

  • Draw the top ball first and the others after it. Then your lower balls can tuck in under it, so you never have to squeeze them in.
  • The short lines between the balls are the trickiest part. Make them gentle curves that run from one ball's edge to the next.
  • Keep the dots on each ladoo a little uneven and spread out, not in a straight line. It makes them look like real sprinkles.

Questions about drawing ladoos

What shapes do I need to draw ladoos?

You need curved arches and smiles that make six round balls, and one wide oval for the plate. Add small dots on each ball for the sprinkles.

How do I make my ladoos look stacked?

Draw the top ball first, then tuck the next row of arches in right below it so they touch. Finish with short curved lines where the balls meet.

How do I make my ladoos look round?

Draw slowly, and try making each curve in one smooth line. If it comes out wobbly, that is fine, because homemade ladoos are never perfect either.
