Step 1: Guide shapes
Lightly sketch these 2 ovals. They only show where the big parts go, so press softly. You will erase them at the end.
Step 2: The round head
Draw a big circle for the head, a little wider than it is tall. Leave a small gap at the top right where the hair will go and a gap at the bottom where the neck will go.
Step 3: Hair, bow and flower
Draw a curved fringe line across the top of the head with a little peak in the middle. Add a small bow with two loops at the top right of the hair, then draw a little five-petal flower floating beside the head.
Step 4: Face and dress
Give your kid two round dot eyes and a small smile. Under the head, draw a U-shaped collar, then two lines that slant outward from the collar like a triangle and close it with a flat line at the bottom. Add two little dots down the middle for buttons.
Step 5: Arms and hands
On the left, draw a bent arm like a long oval beside the dress with a small circle at the end for the hand. On the right, draw a long arm stretching out to the side and finish it with a small circle for the hand.
Step 6: Legs and shoes
Draw two short straight lines going down from the bottom of the dress for legs. Add a wide oval at the end of each leg for the shoes.
Step 7: Bow and stems
Just above the right hand, draw a small loopy bow where all the stems meet. Then draw long thin stems that spread out like a fan, each one going to a different spot.
Step 8: More flowers
At the top of each empty stem, draw a flower. For round flowers, make a small circle and add five rounded petals around it. For the two tulips, draw a small cup shape with a wavy top edge.
All done!
Erase the guide shapes, go over your lines, then color it in.

Tips for drawing a kid with a bunch of flowers
- Draw the head circle lightly first so you can fix it. A round, slightly wide head makes your kid look friendly.
- The stems are the trickiest part. Start every stem from the same spot above the hand, then spread them out like a fan so they do not cross.
- For the round flowers, draw the center circle first and add five petals around it like a clock. Tulips are easier: just a small cup with a wavy top.

Kid with a bunch of flowers fun fact for kids
Tulips grow from bulbs. The bulbs are planted in the fall, rest under the soil all winter, and the flowers pop up in spring.
