How to Draw Big Bull From Back At the Barnyard (Easy Step by Step)
Big Bull is a good first character because he is made almost entirely of curves and ovals. A round body, a wide oval snout, two crescent horns and two dot eyes are all you need. He is a friendly, chubby cartoon, so wobbly lines look cute rather than wrong.

Step 1: Guide shapes
Lightly sketch this oval. It only shows where the big parts go, so press softly. You will erase it at the end.
Step 2: Body sides
Draw two long curved lines that bulge out like the sides of a plump egg. Leave the top and the bottom open, and keep the lines about the same on both sides.
Step 3: Two small ears
At the top of each side line, draw a small pointed leaf shape that sticks out to the side. Make both ears the same size.
Step 4: Horns and head top
Above each ear, draw a curved horn like a crescent moon with its tip pointing up. Then draw a gently curved line across the top to join the two horns.
Step 5: Two feet
At the bottom of each side line, draw a short, wide foot shaped like a little rounded bump. Fill each foot in so it looks like a dark hoof.
Step 6: Bottom of the body
Between the two feet, draw a short, nearly straight line that joins one foot to the other. This closes the bottom of the body.
Step 7: The wide snout
In the middle of the body, draw a wide oval for the snout. Make it about half as wide as the body.
Step 8: The nose ring
Inside the snout, draw a letter U with a second U line just inside it, like a thick horseshoe. Keep it in the middle of the oval.
Step 9: Two round eyes
Above the snout, draw two round dots for eyes. Keep them the same size and at the same height.
All done!
Erase the guide shapes, go over your lines, then color it in.

Tips for drawing Big Bull from Back at the Barnyard
- Draw the two side lines of the body first. Give them a nice round bulge, because the ears and horns sit on top of them.
- The horns are the trickiest part. Think of two crescent moons, one on each side, and check that they are the same height.
- Draw the snout oval big and wide, then put the nose ring inside it. Use a U shape with a second U inside, so it looks like a thick ring.
